The Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea will hold a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on Dec. 7 at 5PM to commemorate the opening of its new downtown public bathrooms.

The public is invited to attend.

The ribbon cutting will be held In the Town’s new El Mar Plaza, 4345 El Mar Drive, which is just south of Anglin’s Square and across El Mar from Mulligan’s Restaurant.

Four bathrooms will be open at all times for the general public. The remaining two restrooms will only be opened for special events where large crowds are expected.

The ribbon cutting will take place right before the Town’s Christmas-By-The-Sea event.

The cool-looking design of the new structure reflects the mid-century modern architecture that is prevalent in many buildings throughout Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.
