Welcome to the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. The Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is here to help you make the most out of your stay. We have resources to help you plan a family vacation, a weekend getaway for two, or help you if you are looking to make your stay permanent. The Visitors Center is a community program of the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.

Whether you are planning a family vacation, a weekend getaway or here for a lifetime our friendly staff is here to assist you in your planning, from finding hotel accommodations and restaurants to helping you decide how to plan your daily activities. We have all the information at your fingertips!

LBTS Visitor Center

Our charming little building – with free parking for Visitor Center guests! – is conveniently located at 4201 Ocean Drive (A1A), and is a great place to find great information on nearby hotels and restaurants, as well as just about any attraction in Broward County. Stop by and find out what ‘s happening in and around our town.

Current Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri from 9am – 4pm and Sat from 9am to Noon.

Broward County Beach Towns Love Us

Our Visitor Center is not just for visitors in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea – we assist people every day who are staying all over Broward County, and especially those vacationing in nearby beach towns from Pompano Beach to Fort Lauderdale.

We’re here to help both visitors, as well as residents, learn more about things to do or places to go all throughout South Florida.

No Car Needed in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea!

Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is so small that it is very easy to stroll from the beach or hotels to downtown for dinner or live music. There are numerous car rental places nearby if you want to go further adventure-seeking one day, and we have bike rental options along A1A to other beach towns as well.

We are also happy to assist you in navigating your transportation needs, from nearby airports such as Fort Lauderdale, Miami, or Palm Beach Airports.

Plus, Broward County Transit (BCT) buses have numerous routes that run through Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, and starting in April 2023, our free Circuit shuttles, will take you around Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. We are here to help you get where you want to go!

The Visitor Center is also the home of the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce.  Stop by and pick up a new Chamber Guide or an application to become a member.
