Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Visitor Center is Here for You!
Relax, you’re here.
Welcome to the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. The Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is here to help you make the most out of your stay. We have resources to help you plan a family vacation, a weekend getaway for two, or help you if you are looking to make your stay permanent. Stop by, get to know us and learn more about our beautiful seaside village.
The Visitors Center is a community program of the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.
Whether you are planning a family vacation, a weekend getaway for two, or here for a lifetime, our friendly staff is here to assist you in your planning, from finding hotel accommodations and restaurants to helping you decide on other things to do and activities.

Walk In or Call, Whatever Works for You!
Our beautiful historic building is conveniently located at 4201 Ocean Drive (A1A), and is a great place to stop, pull up a chair and enjoy the sunshine from our patio. Come by and find out what ‘s happening in our charming seaside village.
We are open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You may also give us a call at (954) 776-1000 and we’ll be happy to help you any way we can.
Broward County Beach Towns Love Us
Our Visitor Center is not just for visitors in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea – we assist people every day who are staying all over Broward County, and especially those vacationing in nearby beach towns from Pompano Beach to Fort Lauderdale.
We’re here to help both visitors, as well as residents, learn more about things to do or places to go all throughout South Florida.
Discounts and Special Offers to South Florida Attractions.
We have a generous variety of publications – many which include special offers and discount coupons for attractions, tour options and other things to do, both near Town, around Fort Lauderdale and other popular Florida attractions throughout the sunshine state.
Local Newspapers and Magazines
You can also check up on the latest news with our variety of local newspapers & magazines – as well as a nice selection of current publications and newspapers in French, Spanish, and German.
No Car Needed in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea!
Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is so small that it is very easy to stroll from the beach or hotels to downtown for dinner or live music. We do have a car rental place if you want to go further adventure-seeking one day, and we have bike rental options along A1A to other beach towns as well.
We are also happy to assist you in navigating your transportation needs, from nearby airports such as Fort Lauderdale, Miami, or Palm Beach Airports.
Plus, Broward County Transit (BCT) buses have numerous routes that run through Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, and our (free!) community bus, The Pelican Hopper, will take you around Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. We are here to help you get where you want to go!
The Visitor Center is also the home of the Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce and has a wealth of information about the Town, its businesses and how to make the most of your time here.
