Get ready for a family-friendly Fourth of July celebration in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea! We’re thrilled to welcome our LBTS friends and neighbors to celebrate the holiday with us as we bring back our annual traditions. We’ll have festivities all day long for the whole family to enjoy.
The day kicks off with the Town’s annual parade at 10 a.m. along El Mar Drive. Restaurants, shops, non-profits, and local business owners are invited to decorate a float and partake in the parade festivities spectators line the street in their fun red, white, and blue attire. This year’s Grand Marshal Paula Mangano, a resident for over 70 years and owner of Paula’s Beauty Salon, will lead the procession.
Following the parade, head over to El Prado Park for “Family Fun Day” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We’ll have a waterslide, clowns, face painting, treats, and more for your kiddos to enjoy.
If you work up an appetite after all that fun, stop into one of our locally-owned restaurants for unique flavors from around the world. Grab a burger and fries, a slice of pizza, or try out some Thai or Caribbean food, all just a stroll or bike ride away. And don’t forget to browse for cute little keepsakes in our little shops along Commerical Blvd.- you’re sure to come across some one-of-a-kind treasures.
Spending the long holiday weekend in our beach town? Our open-air hotels make for the perfect place for a relaxing beachside trip with the family.
