The Pelican Hopper offers free public transportation – you don’t need a car! The Pelican Hopper is FREE, air-conditioned, wheelchair accessible and equipped with bike racks.

The Pelican Hopper operates daily service throughout the Town and to Holy Cross Hospital, Monday through Saturday only, on the following schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. to 5:25 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
5-10 p.m. Town boundaries only.
There is no Community Bus Service on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- President’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the day following
- Christmas Day
- 4th of July may have limited service
The real-time desktop and smart phone app allows residents and visitors to the Town to easily and conveniently select the route they need.
The app is accessible on smart phones, Apple and Android devices, desktop computers and laptops. The Pelican Hopper is the latest addition to the app, which also tracks real-time locations of all seven Sun Trolley routes and the Riverwalk Water Trolley.

This free Community Bus Service is offered in partnership with Broward County Transit (BCT).
The Pelican Hopper connects to other public transportation, so when you want to explore the area, we have connections to get you where you want to go. Let someone else do the driving!
The Pelican Hopper riders connecting with BCT routes are expected to pay the appropriate fares. For BCT fares and schedules, go to Broward.org/BCT or call 954-357-8400.

* Travels along A1A/the beach to Las Olas Boulevard to fine dining, shopping and museums.
Bus Stops and Hours
The Pelican Hopper stops where people are visibly waiting – in front of businesses or at BCT bus stops. The Pelican Hopper may arrive a few minutes earlier or later than the schedule depending on traffic, weather or mechanical issues. Please give yourself enough time when using the bus.
